Disclaimer:

Liability for contents

The contents of our pages have been prepared with the utmost care. However, we cannot guarantee the accuracy, completeness, and topicality of the contents. As a service provider, we are responsible for our own content on these pages according to § 7 Abs. 1 TMG (German Telemedia Act) according to the general laws. According to §§ 8 to 10 TMG, however, we are not obliged as a service provider to monitor transmitted or stored third-party information or to investigate circumstances that indicate illegal activity. Obligations to remove or block the use of information in accordance with general laws remain unaffected by this. However, liability in this regard only applies once we become aware of a concrete infringement. If we become aware of any such violation of the law, we will remove said contents immediately.

Liability for Links

Our offer contains links to external websites of third parties, whose contents exceed our scope of influence. Therefore, we cannot assume any liability for these external contents. The respective provider or operator of the pages is always responsible for the contents of the linked pages. The linked pages were checked for possible legal infringements at the time of linking. Illegal contents were not recognizable at the time of linking. However, it is unreasonable to expect a permanent control of the contents of the linked pages without concrete evidence of a violation of the law. If we become aware of any legal infringements, we will remove such links immediately.

copyright

The contents and works on these pages created by the site operator are subject to German copyright law. The duplication, processing, distribution, and any kind of exploitation outside the limits of copyright law require the written consent of the respective author or creator. Downloads and copies of these pages are only permitted for private, non-commercial use. Insofar as the content on this site has not been created by the operator, the copyright of third parties is being respected. In particular, third party contents are marked as such. Should you nevertheless become aware of a copyright infringement, please inform us accordingly. If we become aware of any infringements of the law, we will remove respective contents immediately.

Privacy Policy

basic information

This data protection declaration is intended to inform users of this website about the type, scope and purpose of the collection and use of personal data by the website operator.

launchlabs GmbH | Leuschnerdamm 13 | 10999 Berlin Germany
Managing Directors: Simon Blake, Simon Springmann

hello@launchlabs.de

The website operator takes your data protection very seriously and treats your personal data confidentially and in accordance with legal regulations.

New technologies and the continuous development of this website may result in changes to this data protection declaration. Thus, we recommend that you read the data protection declaration again at regular intervals.

It is possible to use the website without providing any personal data. Data is personal if it can clearly be assigned to a specific person. The legal basis of data protection can be found in the “Federal Data Protection Act” (BDSG) and the “Telemedia Act” (TMG). Customer data stored or processed by us will be stored and processed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the BDSG and TMG. The following information will inform you about the type, scope and purpose of the collection, use and processing of personal data. We would like to point out that Internet-based data transmission has security gaps, making a complete protection against access by third parties rather impossible.

cookies

Third-party providers, including Google, use stored cookies to serve ads based on a user’s previous visits to this site. You can disable Google’s use of cookies by visiting the Google Advertising opt-out page. Alternatively, users can disable the use of cookies by third parties by visiting the opt-out page of the Network Advertising Initiative. Here you can have out-out-cookies set automatically on your computer for the advertising members (current status: 91 members) of the Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) in order to object to the tracking of the advertisers on your browser.

A previously unsupported method to prevent this is the Do-Not-Track mode, which can be activated in current browsers, and plugins that support this mode tell you that you do not want to be tracked (such as Matomo/Piwik).

In order to reject cookies completely, the most effective step is to restrict or prevent the acceptance of cookies via the browser settings. Our website should still function normally, because we put data protection before usability.

Handling of contact data

If you contact us as website operator through the contact options offered (contact form, e-mail, telephone), your details will be stored so that they can be used to process and answer your enquiry. This data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent. We delete the requests if they are no longer necessary.

server data

The website operator or page provider collects data about access to the page and saves it as “server log files”. The following data is logged in this way:

  • Website from which you came (referrer URL)
  • visited website
  • browser type / version used (user agent)
  • operating system used
  • Amount of data sent in bytes
  • Date and time of access
  • IP address/hostname

These data do not contain any security-relevant or, with the exception of your IP address, personal data. They are stored separately from any personal data you may have provided, and are not linked to data from other sources. The data collected is used solely for statistical evaluation and to improve the website. The data is not evaluated by the website operator. However, the website operator reserves the right to subsequently check the server log files if there are concrete indications of illegal use.

Links to other websites

Our website contains links to other websites. We have no influence on the data protection of other website operators.

Information / revocation / deletion

In accordance with the “Federal Data Protection Act”, you can contact us free of charge with any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data and the correction, blocking, deletion or revocation of any given consent. We would like to point out that you have the right to have incorrect data corrected or personal data deleted in case there is no legal obligation to retain such data.

Matomo/Piwik

We use the open source software Matomo/Piwik, which is installed on the web hosting provider of our website and thus protected from access by third parties. The software serves us for the quality assurance of our website by recording the pages visited by a user on our website.

We do not store any personal data. The IP address belonging to the user is made unrecognisable by the last two bytes (e.g.: 192.168.xxx.xxx). In addition to the unrecognizable IP, we store the browser type/version (user agent), browser language, operating system, region of origin of the request, date and time of the request, pages visited (title, URL), previously visited pages (referrer URL), screen size and dwell time, as well as the links clicked on.

We support the Do-Not-Track setting in the user’s browser. If the browser is set so that tracking is not desired, we respect this wish and tracking by Matomo (Piwik) is deactivated.

To enable the analysis, Matomo (Piwik) creates session cookies on your computer to generate pseudonymised visitor profiles for quality analysis. A randomly generated ID is stored in the cookie, which does not contain any personal data to classify the user as a returning or new visitor to the website. The cookies allow conclusions to be drawn about the frequency of a (anonymised) user’s visits.

Users can object to the user analysis by Matomo (Piwik) by clicking on the link in the box. An opt-out cookie is created that performs the same function as the DNT function – the user is not tracked. After the browser deletes the cookies, the opt-out cookie is also deleted, which would mean that it would have to be set again should this be desired.

Embedded content from other websites

Contributions on this website may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, contributions, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly as if the visitor had visited the other website. These websites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking services and record your interaction with that embedded content, including your interaction with the embedded content, if you have an account and are logged in to this website.

MyFonts

We use fonts (HelveticaNeueLTStd) from the platform “Myfonts.com” of the provider
Monotype Imaging Holdings Inc.
Attn: Legal Department – Privacy
600 Unicorn Park Drive
Woburn, MA 01801 USA

The licensing model used on our site counts the number of page views and the number of font views by Myfonts. A JavaScript calls a URL belonging to the licensee, which counts the call. 10,000 page views per month are permitted. When counting, no personal information (except for server data) is stored by Myfonts and no cookie is set.

YouTube

We integrate the videos of the platform “YouTube” of the provider Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.
Privacy Policy: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/
Opt-out possibility: https://adssettings.google.com/authenticated

We integrate these videos with the “extended data protection mode”, in which Google does not store a cookie on the user’s computer as long as the video is not viewed. If the user plays the video, a connection will be established with Google. The website operator no longer has any influence over the transmitted data.

Google Maps

We bind maps from “Google Maps” (provider: Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA). Data collected can be processed in the USA. This data can be the IP address and location data of the user. If the user allows cookies in the browser, he may allow Google to collect private data.
