Matthias Gölitz is a facilitator at launchlabs and assists companies in innovation processes. He supports teams in the development of human-centered design solutions using agile methods.
Matthias is an industrial designer by training and has developed numerous products for companies in Germany and abroad. As an accredited efficiency consultant at DEMEA, he accompanied manufacturing SMEs through the topic of process optimization. Together with design students from the University of Wuppertal and the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, he has worked for the previous ten years on third-party financing projects within industry.
Matthias is an avid sailor and takes every opportunity to leave solid ground.
Tobias is Junior Facilitator at launchlabs Berlin and supports companies in their innovation processes. By using agile methods, Tobias assists teams in developing human-centered design solutions.
Very traditionally, Tobias completed a business management training and added extra-occupational the Bachelors Professional Degree of Technical Management as well as Certified Technical Engineer. At the same time, Tobias became a self-employed media designer and photographer. Working for approximately 13 years in a medium-sized company, he was finally responsible for product management. During this time, he has developed an analogue taskboard for agile project management as well as the ideaframe in co-creation with launchlabs. Moreover, he has assisted companies from all industries in introducing organisational tools.
Tobias loves creativity - and lives it in many different ways: apart from photography and graphic design, he plays the piano, the guitar and he sings. Additionally, he very much enjoys to discover new cultures.
As a business development consultant, Berit’s focus is on advancing both internal and external launchlabs projects.
Berit has a background in science management with a focus on quality management. She was a contributor to a project awarded the "Queen's Awards for Sustainable Development" in the Marketing and Business Development Department of an English engineering firm and spent a research stay at the University of Toronto as part of her master's thesis.
Her Danish name reveals her northern roots. She enjoys cycling around Berlin or paddle boarding in the surrounding waterways.
Harry is part of the management team at launchlabs. As an innovation consultant he has several years of experience and is principally responsible for the learninglab formats. Working closely with customers, he develops strategies for establishing innovative work cultures.
Working in conjunction with Simon, Harry helped develop the HPI School of Design Thinking program. He started out as a knowledge manager with a focus on the documentation of projects. In recent years, Harry has been a track manager and lead on the HPI student program. Following this, he has developed an interest in how design thinking can be used in established companies.
As a native Austrian, he misses the mountains and will happily cycle around the lakes of Brandenburg. We can’t mention his other hobbies here!
Dutch Design in the house! Kristine advises, designs and conducts workshops and trainings in agile, human-centered methods with a lot of passion (and a charming accent). She aims to make the (working) world a bit more beautiful and innovative. She is passionate about creating a space and a drive for products, services, and processes that truly have value.
After studying communication and business administration in Nijmegen, Kristine worked for several years as a Change Management consultant during which she developed an in-depth understanding of the variety of challenges the different companies faced. She went on to further her development as a blended learning/project manager, always seeking to help people develop according to their strengths and work environment. After studying design thinking at the Design Thinkers Academy in Amsterdam she couldn’t stop! Her love for innovation and for the city of Berlin brought her to launchlabs.
Kristine has truly wide interests in various things and people. She likes to sing, improvise in theatre, loves nature and seeks to explore the world on long-distance journeys whenever she can.
Maria manages anything and everything with figures for launchlabs, and is the primary contact person.
After initially training in the hotel industry in Germany, she then furthered her training in the United Kingdom with a variety of hotels and positions with the most recent as wedding planner for an international hotel in London. She now organizes the team at launchlabs.
"Homemade" is her motto, whether eating or knitting and everything in between!
Sarah proactively supports launchlabs office management and ensures that everyone at the innovationloft in Berlin has what they need.
In addition to her training in hotel management, Sarah's varied experience includes time spent in the field of social work, in particular working on an "Adventure Playground” in the UK. For the moment she is happy contributing her varied experience to the corporate world.
Sarah loves to discover Berlin by bike and to leave her creativity at the kitchen door.
Simon is part of the management team at launchlabs. He brings many years of experience spanning different industries and cultures as a strategy and innovation consultant. Together with customers he focuses on developing strategies through the implementation of a sustainable innovation culture. As a systemic coach, he specializes in the fields of training, leadership development, and transformation.
Simon has a background in strategic business consulting with a focus on innovative mobility. Over the past few years, Simon has trained and coached numerous managers from a wide range of companies in the areas of design, leadership, and innovative work culture. As a lecturer at the Leibniz University, Hannover, he has held seminars on new ways of working and meaningful working since 2012. He received his doctorate from Humboldt-University, Berlin with an interdisciplinary work on "power and organization". Simon is the founder of Pingplus, a network of systemic coaches.

As founder and managing partner of launchlabs Simon conducted several custom-fit method trainings and co-created multiple innovation projects as well as change processes. Throughout his career, Simon has trained over 2,000 people.
From 2007 till 2010 Simon was significantly involved in building the School of Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam in which he lead and managed the Design Thinking Executive Education Programm from 2009 till 2012. Before his time at HPI Simon was developing cross medial formats for the Institute of Electronic Business e.V.. Working at launchlabs he is able to use his experience in media sciences, which he studied in Hannover, and his knowledge in social and economic communication from the University of Arts in Berlin to secure a high degree of innovation consultancy.
As a start-up mentor Simon also assists Angel Investor. In his Kreuzberg-based band he plays the drums.
Jessica graduated from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts with a degree in Design Management. In addition to her studies, Jessica has also worked as an independent design, innovation and marketing consultant and coach. Following her BA in design management and internships at VITRA and NOSE, she successfully completed her master's degree in Business Administration at the University of Lucerne.
Anastasia is an experienced group coach, digital strategist, guest university lecturer and conference speaker, with a focus on creativity, user-centered innovation, digitalisation and change.
Anastasia holds a degree in classical music (State Conservatoire in Kazan), a master’s degree in digital communication (UdK Berlin), and is certified as a design thinker (Hasso Plattner Institut Potsdam). As a former TV chief-editor and moderator, with an additional certification in expressive coaching (Moscow), she has a rich experience in leading and inspiring teams and holding a space for creative flow and efficient collaborative work. Her professional challenge is to inspire people for solutions that change someone's life; to encourage them to leave their comfort zone and to experience transformation and self-awareness through the power of creativity; to integrate different approaches such as design thinking, lean, agile, embodiment, and gamification in order to build a platform for interaction and innovation.

Anna acquired her professional knowledge at the School of Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute in Potsdam. As a founder of the design thinking consultancy openmjnd, she was leading over 100 successful workshops and projects with local and international companies.

Brittany is a business graduate of three international universities (Swinburne Universität Melbourne, Kansai Gaidai Osaka, Hasso-Plattner Institut Potsdam) with merit scholarships from the Rotary Foundation and the Japanese Ministry of Education. In 2012, she studied Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam where business finally met people.
Brittany is originally from Australia and after 4 years in Japan and 6 years in Germany, she now has pleasure to also call these countries home. After 3 languages, countries and degrees she can assure you we have more in common than we think.
Fabian is a passionate advocate of the user perspective, consulting companies and training employees to consequently focus on their customers throughout the innovation cycle.
Early during his studies in Media, Psychology and Politics, he specialised on the user perspective, working in UX and Usability studies. His passion eventually led him to study at the School of Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam where he now teaches himself. It almost goes without saying, Fabian is all about profound user research within the DT process.
Fabian, one oft those rare original Berliners, is a real online and media enthusiast - who counters his connectivity addiction by going trekking in the middle of nowhere for weeks and weeks.
Florian supports teams and organizations in the application of design research and innovation processes. When he is not applying a ‚design thinking mindset‘ in his own projects (in the urban design realm) he is training others to gain and apply it.
During his studies at the School of Design Thinking at the Hasso Plattner Institute (HPI) in Potsdam in 2012, Florian got to know Design Thinking both practically and academically. He applied these methodologies and tools ever since in projects of different scopes. As an urbanist also holding a degree in Psychology, he is fascinated by analyzing and understanding complex systems and collaboratively developing relevant solutions.
Florian loves coffee as well as being active at sea or in it. He believes that most Saturdays is a more beautiful day than Mondays.
Javier gives management and economy lectures at several German universities since 2011. Having held more than 24 different courses, he has a holistic perspective of organizations and their micro and macroeconomic environment. Furthermore, he supports students during their thesis writing process at a Bachelor and Master level. Currently, he is dovetailing management perspectives with the design thinking principles and methods.
Javier obtained an MBA degree and a PhD in economic science at the HHL – Leipzig Graduate School of Management with a focus on strategic management in Latin America. He acquired Design Thinking knowledge in 2010 and 2011 in the School of Design Thinking at the Hasso-Plattner-Institute (HPI) in Potsdam. He is very well versed in applying management, economic, and creative know-how in practice, since he has experience in analytical and creative consulting projects.
Javier was born in Guadalajara, Mexico. He enjoys memorizing the names of all his students and everything dealing with Ludwig van Beethoven.
As strategy and innovation consultant Joy helps organizations to approach the world of tomorrow. She facilitates business transformation and develops future-oriented strategies, products and services in co-creation with her clients, always driven by human centered design.
Joy started her career in the media industry before she discovered her passion for strategic design. Ever since, she has been applying her dramaturgical and communicative skills to design processes and interactions. She holds a master degree in Media Studies of Humboldt-University Berlin and is alumna of the HPI School of Design Thinking.
Born and raised in Bavaria, Joy can hardly imagine life without eating pretzels on a regular basis. Also, she rarely goes anywhere without a notebook and a pen.
Moritz is a consultant and trainer for our international clients in design thinking and creative collaboration.
In the past 12 years, Moritz has gained a lot of experience in the field of creative collaboration, strategic foresight and co-innovation. Since 2015 he is consulting clients with his own company Dolaborate GmbH and has since then also worked closely with launchlabs. Before that he lead design projects as a senior design strategist in the Design and Co-Innovation Center at SAP, taught students and executives as a program manager and teacher at the HPI School of Design Thinking and looked into the future as a researcher in the foresight department of Daimler AG. He studied Comparative Literature, Italian Studies and Dramatics in Munich and holds a PhD in design and media theory from HfG Karlsruhe.
Moritz lives in Berlin and New Delhi, where he walks his dog Leyla even in 48º Celsius in May as well as 1599 on the AQI in November.
Nadja supports organizations on their path to the future by applying Design Thinking, Service Design und Agile Innovation methods, always striving to provide those precious aha-moments in the solutions process.
During her university journey from psychology to marketing and innovation & technology management, she found herself vividly applying Design Thinking at the HPI Design Thinking School in Potsdam. After some years at a digital consultancy juggling innovation projects and data-driven marketing strategies, Nadja now consults, crafts and coaches human-centered innovation concepts and workshops.

Nina has been a qualitative researcher for over a decade. Hunting for Insights for global FMCG players is part of her DNA. Her hours with face-to-face interaction with consumers in group discussions, interviews and in-home visits worldwide are innumerable. Though certainly, her work does not end there. Nina is experienced in taking these golden nuggets further and uses them in various creative workshop settings to ensure consumer-centric product- , service- and process developments for her clients.
As a psychologist, Nina’s passion is to understand the real depths of human needs and desires. She studied psychology and communication sciences in Erfurt with a short stop-over in Canada to peek into journalism.
Nina developed and refined her qualitative research skills while working for some of the most well-known global research agencies Research International, TNS Infratest and Point-Blank International.
Nina grew up in Germany and is a travel-addict. Ask her to sneak a peak into her wallet. She carries around bills from the most exotic countries she has visited to remind her of the places she has been to.
Joe guides teams, companies and organizations in the development of innovative products and services. He takes experience from the private sector, the academic world, from research and start-ups, and uses methods from Design Thinking and Agile to lead teams to their goals in a creative, efficient and user-centered way.
Born in Ireland, Joe studied Industrial Design, Transportation Design and Design Thinking in Germany and Spain. Prior to becoming a freelance design consultant, Joe founded a startup, co-developed the Biothinking Program at the Charité and expanded and led MEDS Workshop as its international director for 3 years.
Joe loves to travel, often with the excuse of experiencing design and architecture .. but really it’s all about the food.
Anna-Lena loves working with the combination of strategic, analytical and creative techniques. As a Design Thinking and Innovation consultant she is supporting companies in closing the gap between sales-oriented and customer experience oriented economical success factors.
Based on her M.A. degrees in International Economic Relations and Trilingual Management Anna-Lena has been working as a strategy, operations and innovation Consultant for seven years. She is now a freelance consultant and Design Thinking coach. In order to nourish her creative side she has obtained a degree in Fashion Design in 2018.
If her day had 48 hours Anna-Lena would resume her drum-lessons, enter a scientific study program and regularly attend triathlon training.
